Job Title: Civil Document Controller

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, and track all technical documents, drawings, submittals, method statements, RFIs, and correspondence within the Technical Department.
- Maintain up-to-date document registers, control logs, and distribution lists for all ongoing projects.
- Distribute technical documents and drawings to relevant internal departments, site teams, consultants, and clients in a timely manner.
- Ensure all received documents are reviewed for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project and company standards before distribution.
- Manage revision control for all drawings and documents, ensuring the latest versions are accessible and obsolete versions are archived appropriately.
- Organize and maintain well-structured digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Assist in preparing, formatting, and submitting documents required for authority approvals, consultant reviews, and client submissions.
- Monitor pending approvals, revisions, and submissions, following up with responsible stakeholders to avoid delays.
- Prepare, review, and circulate meeting packs, minutes of meetings (MoMs), and technical correspondence for departmental meetings and workshops.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring all technical documentation complies with company standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and enforce company procedures for document security and access control.
- Continuously improve document management processes, templates, and systems within the Technical Department.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 5 or more years of experience as a DC in building construction in GCC.
- Strong knowledge of document control systems and software (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SharePoint etc.)
