Job Description: Civil Draftsman/ Steel Structural Designer- Estimator

Location: Abu Dhabi

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AED 4,000 - 6,000/month (based on experience)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman/ Steel Structural Designer- Estimator with a background in metal works, including structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and glass.

The ideal candidate will prepare detailed fabrication/shop drawings and support with estimation and material take-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D fabrication and shop drawings.
• Develop BOQs, material take-offs, and assist with pricing.
• Accurately interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and factory.
• Revise drawings based on site updates or client feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specs.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in metal fabrication drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Tekla, SolidWorks, Revit are a plus).
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation and basic estimation.
• Experience in structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum systems.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
