Civil Draftsperson

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify technical drawings for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP works as per approved project specifications.
• Translate design concepts and engineering inputs into accurate, clear, and coordinated shop drawings.
• Update drawings to reflect site changes, consultant instructions, and client revisions promptly.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, project standards, and drafting guidelines.
• Support in preparing as-built drawings, material submittals, and other required technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and consultants to address drawing discrepancies and technical concerns.
• Organize and maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and document control systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering / Drafting.
• 1–3 years of experience in drafting for construction or engineering projects (GCC experience is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related design/drafting software.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, MEP layouts, and project coordination requirements.
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work with complex technical drawings.
• Capable of handling multiple drawing tasks and working under time constraints.
• Knowledge of Bahrain construction codes and standards will be an added benefit.
