  • 1. Planning and Design Coordination Review and interpret geotechnical reports, structural drawings, and design documents related to piling and shoring systems. Assist in developing construction methodologies, sequencing, and temporary works designs. Coordinate with design consultants for technical clarifications and design modifications. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. 2. Site Supervision and Execution Supervise piling and shoring activities including bored piles, driven piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, soldier piles, and sheet piling. Monitor installation accuracy, pile verticality, and alignment as per approved drawings. Inspect reinforcement, concrete quality, and pile integrity testing (PIT, PDA, or static load tests). Oversee excavation support systems and ensure stability and safety of excavations. Ensure daily progress meets project timelines and report deviations immediately. 3. Quality Assurance and Documentation Prepare and review method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality checklists. Conduct inspections and coordinate third-party testing as required. Maintain records of pile logs, test results, as-built drawings, and daily progress reports. Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and client specifications. 4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Implement and enforce HSE policies specific to piling and shoring operations. Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure proper PPE usage on site. Monitor site activities to identify and mitigate potential hazards. 5. Coordination and Communication Liaise with subcontractors, survey teams, and material suppliers. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and other engineering disciplines. Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
