Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Reporting to: Engineer

Job Purpose:

To manage, design, and supervise civil and landscaping projects, ensuring that all construction and horticultural works are executed according to approved designs, technical specifications, and within the set timeline and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and technical studies for construction and landscaping projects.
• Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with approved plans and standards.
• Oversee excavation, backfilling, concrete works, and infrastructure activities.
• Manage landscape works, including planting, irrigation systems, and outdoor structures.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and progress reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare periodic technical reports highlighting project progress and issues.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained at all project sites.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project execution and team performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contracting and construction companies, with proven experience in landscaping and horticultural projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software (Primavera / MS Project).
• Strong leadership and field supervision skills.
• Knowledge of local and international construction codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
