Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Surat, Gujarat Employment Type: Full–Time

About Us: Gyan Architects is committed to designing inspiring, sustainable spaces that merge creativity and engineering excellence. We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team and deliver high-quality infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design and oversee construction of civil engineering projects including buildings, foundations, utilities, drainage, and other infrastructure.

• Review survey reports, maps, soil tests and other data to assess project feasibility.

• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, cost estimates, budgets and project schedules.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality and adherence to design specifications.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

• Prepare technical reports, documentation, permit applications, and maintain project records.

• Manage project resources (materials, labor, equipment), control costs, identify risks and take corrective actions as required.

• Mentor junior engineers or site staff (if applicable) and support continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or equivalent.

• Professional registration/licensing (if required) is a plus.
• Proven experience in civil engineering projects (design, site supervision, infrastructure) — specify years as per your requirement.

• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, soil mechanics, structural design and utility systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational mindset and ability to work in a team environment.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, ability to manage deadlines and budgets.

Preferred/Additional:

• Experience with building projects (residential/commercial) and/or infrastructure works.

• Understanding of sustainability practices, green building standards or LEED certification.

• Hands-on site experience in the Surat/Gujarat region.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
