Job Summary

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, infrastructure, and related projects. The role involves ensuring that all work meets the required safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations and analyze data such as surveys, maps, and reports.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and surveyors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Estimate material, equipment, and labor requirements and prepare cost estimates.
• Supervise construction activities and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and perform quality checks throughout project phases.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on project status and issues.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech).
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Office, or other engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or related civil engineering projects (freshers may also apply depending on company requirement).
