Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising construction projects such as buildings, roads, infrastructure, and utilities. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with local authority regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil works
• Prepare drawings, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Supervise site activities and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, etc.)
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress
• Review material submittals and method statements
• Ensure quality control and resolve technical issues on site
• Prepare progress reports and attend coordination meetings
• Ensure HSE rules are followed at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and approvals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Primavera is an advantage)
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Preferred (Optional)
