Civil Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and timely completion of Civil and Structural works, with a strong focus on snagging, de-snagging, inspections, and project close-out. The role involves identifying defects across structural, architectural, and finishing works, coordinating rectification activities, and supporting final inspections and handover to ensure projects meet required standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works to identify defects, incomplete works, and non-compliance issues
• Prepare and maintain snagging reports with clear descriptions, photographs, and tracking logs
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for timely de-snagging and rectification works
• Verify closure of snags and ensure compliance with quality standards before final sign-off
• Review approved drawings, specifications, and site conditions related to Civil works
• Monitor site activities to ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and project requirements
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority requirements, and safety standards
• Participate in pre-handover inspections and final project inspections
• Assist in preparation and review of as-built drawings, inspection reports, and handover documentation
• Track project progress and provide regular updates on snagging status and project close-out activities
• Identify recurring quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams to ensure smooth project completion
