Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Development — Plan and design site layouts, foundations, access roads, drainage systems, and utility networks for oil & gas facilities.
  • Structural Design — Design and review structural components such as pipe racks, equipment foundations, buildings, tanks, and offshore platforms.
  • Construction Supervision — Oversee civil works at site, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Geotechnical Assessment — Conduct soil investigations, evaluate ground conditions, and recommend foundation types suitable for heavy industrial loads.
  • Pipeline Civil Works — Manage trenching, backfilling, road crossings, valve chambers, and pipeline supports.
  • Coordination with Disciplines — Work closely with mechanical, electrical, process, and HSE teams to ensure integrated engineering solutions.
  • Contract & Vendor Management — Review civil engineering scope, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance — Ensure all civil works meet international standards (API, ASME, ACI, BS, ISO) and adhere to strict HSE guidelines.
  • Project Documentation — Prepare technical reports, method statements, drawings, BOQs, and progress updates.
  • Cost & Schedule Control — Support budgeting, cost estimation, and monitoring of civil engineering activities.
