Civil Engineer -Construction & Fit Out

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in building construction and interior fit-out projects. The role involves overseeing site execution, coordinating with consultants and contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of projects in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Fit-Out Execution

• Manage day-to-day site activities for civil works and interior fit-out projects.
• Supervise structural, architectural, and fit-out works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, and finishes.
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.

Coordination & Supervision

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Review and monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, and progress.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.

Planning & Monitoring

• Prepare work schedules and track project progress against timelines.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQs, and material planning.
• Monitor site productivity and report delays or risks.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and HSE standards.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure snag-free handover.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing works and coordination of MEP with fit-out.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, hospitality, or retail projects preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of MS Project / Primavera (preferred).
• Good understanding of construction materials, methods, and fit-out standards.
• Familiar with local authority approvals and site regulations (UAE experience preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
