Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management
Planning
· Develop project execution plans as per agreed terms / scope of work, and amend them as required securing consent of all parties involved.
· Perform all forms of resource planning and scheduling arrangements with resource centers; namely Procurement, Finance, Logistics and HR.
· Plan, monitor and control the execution of work safely on site and verify the approved Method Statements
· Place timely request of all materials, machinery and manpower required for the projects.
Coordinating
· Supervise the overall activities of the site, attend to the complaints and rectifications.
· Managing teams, inform supervisor about daily task & ensure that daily task list is achieved at the end of the day.
· Ensure appropriate permits and / or NOCs, Insurances are obtained prior to project engagements as applicable
· Ensure sites are visited regularly, work / operational schedules are updated and known to all the stakeholders
Execution
· Study and analyze project specifications and drawings to define requirements
· Ensure that the quality of sites is maintained as per the highest standards set by the company and in line with the client specifications within budgets
· Perform risk assessments prior & during project time lines to address potential risks in execution.
· Ensure machinery & equipment are in good operational condition. Any repairs or changes to be intimated immediately.
· Ensure resources are utilized efficiently and no idle time is recorded.
Reporting
· Reply to all forms of communication in the given time frame, turnaround time to client should not exceed 24 hours.
· Ensure all forms of communication, project documentation is stored electronically and in hard copies.
Customer Care / Client Relationship
· Frequently meet old and new clients, understand the needs and fulfil them at a profit.
· Establish and further develop long-term relationships with clients in all projects and secure new business for the company.
Quality Control
· Continuously monitor and identify gaps in daily operations and seek opportunities to rectify them.
· Provide solution with the interest to protect the client and company from financial loss.
People Management
· Ensure all staff behave in a professional manner: wear the correct PPE, regular on sites
· Ensure adherence to HSE standards and lead rectification of onsite work hazards
· Manage any employee related issues, utilizing support from HR, within the parameters of Company policies.
Others
· Support your operational teams in a hands on support function as and when required.
· Assist in any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
§ Bachelor’s Degree in (Civil) Engineering from a recognized and accredited University
§ At least 5 years’ experience after receiving your ADM or DMT certification
§ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
§ Bold personality, strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills preferred
§ Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
§ Proficient in Microsoft office packages
§ Must be able to demonstrate a high level of trust and confidentiality
§ Passionate team player and driven to exceed results
§ Ability to guide workforce
§ Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
§ Driving license preferred.
