Job Summary

Banerjee Group is looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer (Site Engineer) to manage and supervise on-site construction activities. The role involves ensuring structural integrity, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness of projects while ensuring timely completion in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure structural stability, safety, and quality standards at all stages of construction.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction schedules and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage material planning, procurement coordination, usage, and control to minimize wastage and costs.
• Ensure compliance with statutory norms, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Maintain site documentation, daily progress reports, and quality check records.
• Oversee workforce deployment and ensure proper work distribution at site.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, structural works, and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Sound understanding of safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities under deadlines and budget constraints.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects (commercial/residential/industrial preferred).
