Civil Estimation Engineer

We a re seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Estimation Engineer in building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and supporting the commercial and technical evaluation of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and structural works.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and tender documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare tender submissions, technical proposals, and cost breakdowns.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and prepare comparison sheets.
• Identify project risks and provide value engineering recommendations.
• Assist in contract negotiations and post-tender clarifications.
• Monitor project costs and support the project team during execution.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimation Engineer in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market prices in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office applications (e.g., CCS Candy, Cost X, MS Excel, AutoCAD).
• Experience in quantity surveying and cost control is preferred.
• Familiar with Saudi building regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders/projects under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
• Knowledge of contract conditions and tendering procedures.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
