We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman with strong landscaping knowledge to supervise and coordinate site activities. The role involves managing civil and landscape works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of civil construction workers, subcontractors, and labor teams.
  • Interpret construction drawings, plans, and instructions for the workforce.
  • Assign tasks to workers and monitor their performance.
  • Plan and organize material usage, equipment, and manpower for daily operations.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and propose corrective actions.
  • Inspect ongoing works to ensure compliance with technical specifications and construction standards.
  • Ensure proper execution of concrete works, formwork, steel reinforcement, masonry, and finishing works.
  • Report quality issues and oversee rectification or rework.
  • Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and machinery.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, site engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
  • Maintain daily work reports, labor attendance, and material usage logs.
  • Communicate site progress, challenges, and requirements to the project management team.
  • Mentor and train junior supervisors and workers to improve productivity and skill levels.
  • Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Monitor progress and ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Experience in managing site labor, construction sequencing, and civil works such as concrete, masonry, earthworks, and finishing.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, standards, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control procedures, and site best practices.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, management, and workers to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Valid driving license preferred.
