Civil Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Technically supervise all Road, Building, and Civil Maintenance work executed by contractors
• Conduct routine observations, inspections, and site visits with contractors
• Report daily to Sr. Civil Engineer/Civil Engineer
• Input SAP notifications for all necessary maintenance requirements
• Determine final quantities and relay to Sr. Civil Engineer for Release Orders
• Submit brief reports on maintenance requirements for roads, bridges, underpasses, overpasses, storm water drainage, and buildings
• Ensure all works conform to Qatar Petroleum and international standards
• Inspect and verify final road and drainage levels for approval
• Attend progress meetings and site visits
• Supervise/witness contractor testing (concrete, soil, material, and non-destructive testing)
• Prepare sketches and rough estimates of repair/maintenance works
• Assist in tender document preparation and punch-listing

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum 2 years post-secondary technical education in civil engineering/road construction and maintenance)

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Civil, Road, and Building Construction
• Experience in the Middle East is highly advantageous

Experience:

• Oil and Gas : 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Freelance Visa (Preferred)
