Civil Forman

The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day civil construction activities on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within quality standards, and in line with project drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise site workers and subcontractors on civil construction activities.
• Coordinate daily site work according to project schedules and priorities.
• Read and follow drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure work quality meets project standards and requirements.
• Monitor and enforce site safety procedures and compliance.
• Assign daily tasks and conduct toolbox talks or briefings.
• Check availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to resolve site issues.
• Track progress and report delays, manpower needs, and site updates.
• Maintain good housekeeping and site discipline.
• Support inspections, snag rectification, and handover activities.
• Guide and train workers to improve productivity and quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certificate; civil diploma preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Knowledge of excavation, blockwork, formwork, concreting, masonry, and finishing works.
• Ability to read construction drawings and site instructions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of site safety procedures and quality standards.
• UAE project experience is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
