Civil Integrity Inspector

The Civil Integrity Inspector is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and ensuring the structural integrity and quality compliance of civil infrastructure projects. This role involves inspection, testing coordination, documentation, and verification of construction activities in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of civil works including foundations, concrete structures, pipelines, roads, and structural elements. include structural integrity assessments, non-destructive testing (NDT), corrosion assessment, and risk-based inspections of infrastructure.
• Monitor material quality, including concrete, soil, aggregates, and reinforcement steel.
• Review and witness field and laboratory testing (e.g., compaction tests, slump tests, cube tests, etc.).
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations; prepare NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients for inspection activities.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, inspection, or QA/QC Civil.
• Experience in infrastructure, pipelines, industrial projects, or building construction.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of international standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, ISO).
• Knowledge and experience about Civil Integrity testing.
• Knowledge regarding Schmidt hammer, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) & ferro scanner.
• Familiarity with inspection & test plans (ITP) and quality inspection procedures (QIP).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, reporting tools).
