Civil Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal – Miami, FL (Complex Litigation Experience Preferred - Med Mal Defense)
Salary: $60K–$80K (based on experience)

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in medical malpractice defense. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation experience and excels at managing complex cases from discovery through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and organize client documents, discovery materials, and case files

· Conduct background checks and retrieve records

· Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and attend trials

· Summarize medical records and billing statements

· Coordinate and liaise with expert witnesses

· Perform legal research and support evidentiary issues

· Review and process vendor invoices

Qualifications:

· College degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate required

· Florida Registered Paralegal and trial experience preferred

· Minimum 5 years of relevant litigation experience

Skills & Expectations:

· Strong written and verbal communication

· High attention to detail and professionalism

· Strong organizational and technical skills (Microsoft Office, legal systems)

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively

· Dependable, punctual, and responsive to attorney and client needs
