Civil Litigation Paralegal

Job Title: Paralegal – Civil, Personal Injury Litigation
Location: Houston, Texas (Near the Galleria)

We are a small, fast-paced personal injury law firm located near the Galleria in Houston. Our practice is built on delivering excellent legal service with a personal touch. As a team, we value professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated paralegal to grow with our team and support the attorneys in personal injury litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, discovery, demands and correspondence.
• Manage case files.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Calendar deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and schedules.
• Assist attorneys with hearing/trial prep, exhibits, and witness coordination.
• Perform general administrative and case management tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of civil litigation paralegal experience (Texas state courts and federal experience strongly preferred).
• PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE AT LEAST 4 YEARS WORKING AS A LITIGATION PARALEGAL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (CasePeer, Box).
• Must be able to file documents on the Texas efile and PACER systems.
• Proficient in negotiating liens and reductions, disbursing funds and closing a file.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
