Hiring – Civil & MEP Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Civil & MEP Procurement Manager to handle and manage all procurement activities for our civil, fit-out, and MEP projects in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and subcontractors on time, controlling costs, maintaining quality, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and UAE regulations. The role requires close coordination with project, engineering, contracts, and finance teams.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, or related field
✅ 8–12 years of experience in construction procurement
✅ Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial procurement role
✅ Good experience in the UAE construction market
✅ Strong knowledge of suppliers and subcontractors for civil and MEP works
✅ Experience in contract negotiation, cost control, and budgeting
✅ Familiar with UAE regulations and company procurement procedures
✅ Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all civil and MEP procurement activities
• Prepare and implement procurement plans and strategies
• Handle the full procurement process including vendor prequalification, RFQs/RFPs, tender evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for civil and MEP materials
• Ensure materials are delivered on time and within approved budgets
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery schedules
• Review and approve purchase orders, subcontracts, and variations
• Coordinate with project, engineering, contracts, and finance teams
• Maintain good relationships with local and international suppliers
• Support cost saving, value engineering, and budget control initiatives
• Prepare procurement reports and updates for management

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Good knowledge of civil and MEP materials and subcontract works
• Ability to lead and manage a procurement team
• Good planning, organizational, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with major contractors or developers in Dubai
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, PMP, or similar
• Knowledge of ethical and sustainable procurement practices
