Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Civil Engineer to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on site experience, and the ability to manage civil works in industrial and construction projects.

The Project Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and monitoring civil construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all civil construction activities at site.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, and project requirements.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare and review method statements, work schedules, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of civil works.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality meets project standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of health and safety regulations at site.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Review subcontractor work and verify completed quantities.
• Support project manager in cost control and project planning.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and approvals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Project Civil Engineer in construction or industrial projects.
• Experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, oil storage terminals, pipelines, infrastructure, or related projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
• Ability to manage site activities independently.

Key Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good project coordination and supervision skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
