Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Role Purpose

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Electrical Project Engineer to spearhead the electrical scope of our major projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of electrical systems, ensuring they are engineered for maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance with national and international electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Power Systems Management: Oversee the installation and commissioning of LV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, and power distribution networks.
• ELV & Systems Integration: Manage the integration of Fire Alarm, BMS (Building Management Systems), Security/CCTV, and Data networks.
• Authority Liaison: Lead the process for obtaining approvals and permanent power connections from local utility authorities.
• Technical Review: Conduct rigorous reviews of electrical shop drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLD), and short-circuit calculations.
• Value Engineering: Identify opportunities to optimize electrical designs to reduce costs without compromising system integrity or safety.
• Site Supervision: Manage electrical subcontractors and ensure that site progress matches the master project schedule.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Chartered Engineer or PE status is a major advantage).
• Standards Mastery: Deep knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, and NFPA 70/70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace).
• Software: Expert in ETAP or SKM (for power analysis), Dialux (for lighting design), and AutoCAD/Revit MEP.
• Experience: Proven track record in [e.g., Data Centers, High-rise Buildings, or Substation projects].
