The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, authority approvals, and execution supervision of electrical systems for high-rise buildings, strictly in compliance with SEWA Standards, and relevant international codes.

The role covers both design and site execution, ensuring that electrical works are technically sound, authority-compliant, cost-effective, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Engineering

Prepare and review electrical design calculations including:
Load calculations
Voltage drop
Short-circuit levels
Transformer sizing
Generator sizing (if applicable)
Design and review:
LV systems
Substation layouts (RMU, transformer, LV MDB)
Power distribution systems
Lighting systems (internal, external)
Earthing & lightning protection systems
ELV systems coordination (data, CCTV, access control)
Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) compliant with SEWA regulations.
Ensure designs comply with:
SEWA Regulations

2. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise electrical works on site to ensure:
Compliance with approved drawings
Compliance with SEWA & safety standards
Quality of installation
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate with:
Civil & structural teams
MEP engineers
Main contractor & subcontractors
Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and support construction sequencing.
4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Oversee testing & commissioning of:
LV systems
Transformers & RMUs
MDBs and distribution boards
Earthing and lightning protection systems
Review and approve test reports.
Support final SEWA inspections and energization.
Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation.
5. Cost, Quality & Coordination

Support value engineering without compromising SEWA compliance.
Identify design or execution risks early and propose corrective solutions.
Ensure electrical systems are coordinated with architectural and structural constraints.
Assist in resolving site conflicts and authority-related technical challenges.
Qualifications:

Technical Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of SEWA standards and procedures
Proven experience with:
(RMU, transformers, MDBs)
High-rise electrical distribution systems
Construction temporary power systems
Proficient in:
AutoCAD and EXCEL

Eletrical calculation tools.
Ability to interpret and review technical drawings and specifications.
