MEP Junior Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Design & Drafting Support

• Assist in preparing MEP drawings and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with senior engineers to ensure design compliance with project requirements.
• Support in developing schematics for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems.

2. Site Supervision & Inspections

• Conduct site visits to monitor MEP installations and ensure work is done as per drawings and specifications.
• Report discrepancies or deviations to senior engineers and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in coordination with contractors and subcontractors on site.

3. Coordination & Collaboration

• Work with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines for smooth integration of MEP systems.
• Support in MEP clash detection and resolution during design and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and project standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper site reports, progress records, and installation logs.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.
• Update drawings and documents to reflect design changes or modifications.

5. Testing & Commissioning Support

• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure all systems are installed correctly and functioning as per design specifications.
• Support senior engineers in system troubleshooting and performance checks.

6. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all MEP works adhere to safety standards, company quality procedures, and UAE regulations.
• Follow internal quality control and inspection procedures for all MEP installations.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of MEP systems: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical installations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP for drawings and modeling.
• Basic understanding of UAE building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication skills for site coordination.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in MEP design or site supervision (Junior level).
• Exposure to construction projects, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems preferred.
• Preference for male candidates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
