CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER

A Civil Project Engineer with infrastructure expertise is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and managing civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, drainage systems, and other large-scale infrastructure works. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee infrastructure construction projects from initiation to completion
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues on-site
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and environmental standards
• Prepare reports, progress updates, and documentation for management
• Assist in tendering, procurement, and contract administration
• Implement quality control and assurance procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• 7+ years of experience in civil/infrastructure projects (Mandatory)
• Experience in roads, highways, bridges, drainage, or utilities projects
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Familiarity with project management tools and engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.)
• Understanding of local construction codes and standards (UAE/GCC experience preferred if applicable)

Work Environment

• Combination of office-based planning and on-site supervision
• Requires frequent site visits and coordination with construction teams
• May involve working under tight deadlines and challenging site conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
