Civil Project Engineer

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer (Civil) – Offshore

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of sewage treatment plant (STP) and wastewater infrastructure projects. The candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil engineering aspects of STP and wastewater projects
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress, resources, and budgets
• Review and approve design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Supervise site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction regulations and environmental standards
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Prepare progress reports and present updates to management and clients
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in wastewater and sewage treatment projects
• Strong experience in STP, pumping stations, and sewer networks
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools
• Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., wastewater design and environmental regulations)
• Experience working in Qatar or GCC is highly preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification or equivalent
• Experience with Public Works Authority based projects
• Knowledge of HSE standards and sustainability practices
