Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central point of coordination among architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless alignment of project execution with design intent and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project schedules, HSE standards, and local authority regulations.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring progress aligns with predefined milestones.
- Track project budgets, implement cost control measures, and forecast potential financial risks to maintain profitability and project viability.
- Lead on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is performed to a high standard and productivity benchmarks are achieved.
- Conduct regular inspections, proactively identify on-site challenges, and implement timely solutions to prevent delays or disruptions.
- Manage variations and change orders, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and analysis of time and cost implications.
- Facilitate clear and continuous communication through progress meetings, status updates, and stakeholder reporting.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including daily logs, quality control reports, inspection checklists, and meeting minutes.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental protocols in all phases of construction.
- Supervise and coordinate procurement activities, ensuring materials and equipment are sourced and delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide strategic leadership to resolve critical issues and make informed decisions that safeguard project timelines and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in a Grade A or B contracting company, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale civil projects.
- Experience in establishing and leading project teams, construction departments, or business units from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of all aspects of project management, including technical execution, financial oversight, and administrative controls.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex builds, including high-rise towers, luxury residential compounds, and multi-location developments.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale site operations with 300+ workforce and multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
