Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall site operations, ensuring construction activities are executed in alignment with approved design drawings, timelines, budgetary guidelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers (structural, MEP), consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Create, maintain, and monitor project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project; identify delays and implement recovery strategies.
- Manage project budgets and control costs by tracking expenses, forecasting financial requirements, and mitigating cost overruns.
- Direct and supervise site engineers, foremen, and labor force to ensure smooth workflow, compliance, and productivity.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and enforce corrective actions to address non-conformities or technical deviations.
- Evaluate and process variations, change orders, and claims, ensuring proper documentation and impact analysis.
- Lead weekly coordination meetings, prepare progress reports, and keep all stakeholders informed on critical project developments.
- Ensure all site records—including progress reports, quality assurance logs, safety checklists, and material deliveries—are accurately maintained.
- Promote and enforce strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards across all phases of construction.
- Oversee procurement and logistics planning to ensure timely availability of project materials, tools, and machinery.
- Resolve site-level issues proactively, ensuring work continuity and alignment with project milestones.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of proven experience in the construction industry, preferably with A or B grade contracting firms.
- Must have handled multiple large-scale residential and commercial projects, including high-rise and luxury villa developments.
- Capable of independently leading new project setups and managing large multi-disciplinary teams (300+ personnel).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site logistics, project budgeting, and contract administration.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to operate under pressure.
- Familiarity with local construction codes, authority approvals, and safety compliance in the GCC region.
- Valid driver’s license required.
