CIVIL QA/QC ENGINEER OIL & GAS

CIVIL QA/QC ENGINEER

Job Purpose: Implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for civil works including trenching, foundation preparation, coating application, and reinstatement activities in compliance with SABIC/SASREF standards and BH requirements in live refinery brownfield environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement ITPs for civil and trenching works including excavation, backfilling, concrete repair, and coating
  • Witness and verify foundation dimensional compliance prior to mechanical installation
  • Monitor coating application and DFT (Dry Film Thickness) verification for trenching and foundation works
  • Verify concrete repair quality and curing compliance
  • Inspect asphalt and gravel reinstatement in operational refinery areas
  • Verify sealant application and expansion joint compliance
  • Coordinate with SASREF civil inspection for hold points and witness points
  • Maintain civil works traceability and inspection records
  • Review and approve red mark-up drawings for civil scope
  • Ensure compliance with SABIC civil standards and specifications
  • Compile civil works turnover dossiers and mechanical completion certificates

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years QA/QC experience in KSA oil & gas with 5+ years in refineries
  • Brownfield civil works QC experience (SABIC/Aramco)
  • Trenching, excavation, and coating inspection expertise
  • DFT testing and concrete quality control experience
  • Knowledge of SASREF/SABIC civil standards and specifications
  • H2S and refinery safety certification
  • Transferable Iqama

Preferred:

  • SASREF or SABIC refinery civil QC experience
  • NACE coating inspector certification
  • ACI concrete inspection certification
  • Familiarity with Aramco civil standards

Salary Range: SAR 12,000 – 18,000/month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼12,000.00 - ﷼18,000.00 per month
