Technician/Assistant Technician – Construction Material Testing

Contract Type: 1–2 year fixed-term contract

We are seeking a skilled Technician/Assistant Technician to support our construction material testing projects in Dubai. This is a contract-based role for 1–2 years. The candidate will be responsible for performing and assisting in a variety of field and laboratory testing activities, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with soil, concrete, and aggregate testing.
• Conduct field density tests and sampling of concrete for compression and flexural testing.
• Assist in conducting slump tests.
• Knowledge of asphalt testing is preferred.
• Responsible for the delivery and collection of samples and reports.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing activities.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Work effectively under pressure within a team environment.

Role Requirements / Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a third-party testing laboratory.
• Minimum experience in construction material testing with a commercial test house or contractor.
• Good communication skills.
• ACI/CTTA certifications are preferred.
• Valid local driving license is preferred
