Civil/Infrastructure Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Civil/Infrastructure Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to create accurate drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues and incorporate changes.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions for project documentation.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and updating design modifications during construction.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) to ensure design integration.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in roadworks, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards.
