A leading claims consultancy is seeking an experienced Claims / Contracts Manager to support clients across major construction and infrastructure projects. The role will focus on preparing, managing, and resolving complex claims and contractual matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and manage EOT claims, variations, and contractual submissions
  • Provide strategic advice on claims, disputes, and contract administration
  • Analyse project records, programmes, and correspondence to support claims
  • Draft detailed claims reports, narratives, and substantiation documents
  • Support clients in dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration
  • Interpret and advise on contract conditions (FIDIC and bespoke forms)
  • Liaise with clients, legal teams, and project stakeholders on commercial matters
  • Assist in the preparation of expert reports where required
  • Identify contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies


Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in contracts/commercial roles within construction
  • Proven experience working on claims and dispute resolution (contractor or consultancy side)
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims procedures
  • Experience on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects
  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
  • MRICS / MCIArb or working towards is highly desirable
