Claims Service Representative

Claims Service Representative:

The Claims Service Representative (CSR) is an entry-level claims position which reports to the Claims Team Manager. The CSR is responsible for leading phone and email communications with customers, creating claim records within the claims handling system, assigning claims to other claims team members, and handling low complexity claims arising from medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicle breakdowns submitted under commercial vehicle warranties.

Requirements:

· At least 1 year of experience handling commercial vehicle claims for a property and casualty insurance company, or warranty company, or; 1-2 years of experience working in a customer call center environment, or other customer service related job.

· A strong desire to meet customer needs and deliver exceptional customer experiences, and an ability to actively listen and calmly resolve customer concerns or complaints

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work well with others, and support the mutual success of a team

· Fluency in Spanish or French is preferred

· Secondary education (Associates degree or higher, or trade/technical school) desirable

Core Responsibilities:

· Handling claims from first report to payment, including contacting customer to explain claims process and update them on claims status, reviewing repair facility diagnostic reports and repair estimates and evaluating the validity of recommended repairs and submitting approvals for repairs

· Completing work according to established claim handling guidelines, and delivering excellent customer service to customers, including resolving customer complaints

· Other responsibilities as required by the business

Work Schedule:

· Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
(Eligible for an additional quarterly shift bonus.)

· Schedule may vary based on operational needs. (Saturday and holiday shifts may be required and include additional pay or a compensatory day.)

In-Office Position/Location:

· 7990 North Point Blvd. Suite 108, Winston Salem, North Carolina 27106. (flexible Friday work from home opportunity)

Pay: $44,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
