Role Summary

Kalandoor Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department in daily administrative and clerical functions. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring smooth HR operations across the company’s joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out business. The role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support to the HR department.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in recruitment activities including posting job advertisements, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare and issue HR documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding paperwork.
  • Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
  • Maintain attendance records, leave tracking, and timesheets.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by coordinating employee data and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with PRO for visa processing, renewals, labor cards, and other government-related documentation.
  • Handle HR correspondence including emails, letters, and internal communication.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems (both physical and digital) for HR documents.
  • Assist in arranging employee meetings, training sessions, and internal HR activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information.
  • Support HR team in compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws.
  • Assist in general office administrative tasks when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HR administration or clerical support.
  • UAE experience is preferred, especially within construction or interior fit-out industries.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes, documentation, and employee lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with UAE labor laws and visa procedures is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Hindi/Malayalam language skills are an advantage.

Note: Candidates currently available in the UAE and ready for immediate joining will be given priority. Applicants with experience in interior fit-out, construction, or manufacturing environments are preferred.
