Job Summary: A Scheduling Clerk for Logistics and Warehousing is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the daily operations of a warehouse or logistics company.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Managing the inbound and outbound schedules for deliveries and shipments.
  • Tracking and updating the status of shipments and deliveries in real-time.
  • Communicating with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintaining accurate records of shipments and deliveries, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and delivery status.
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts and ensuring that shipments and deliveries are completed on time.
  • Assisting with inventory management, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels.
  • Providing support to the warehouse or logistics team as needed.

Required Experience and Education:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics and/or warehousing operations
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), and scheduling software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree in logistics or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions.
