Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Client Services Assistant at Kansas State University, located in Manhattan, KS. The Client Services Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the university's departments or programs. Responsibilities include managing appointments, assisting with customer inquiries, preparing documentation, coordinating events, maintaining records, and supporting various operational activities in alignment with departmental goals. This role plays a key part in ensuring excellent client service and operational efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Strong Administrative and Organizational skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and multitasking
  • Proficiency in Customer Service and Client Relations, with the ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues
  • Computer Literacy, including experience with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and email communication tools
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility and Adaptability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking abilities to address challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Previous experience in a university or educational setting is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
