Job Summary


The role of the Client Services Director for the GSP International division within World Wide Technology is pivotal to the growth and the stability of our sales organisation. In this role you will work to own the delivery of agreed services to all clients within the UAE Region of GSP International delivering profitable and successful services into clients and tangible business outcomes

You will work in close and full alignment with the regional Client Account Directors and Sales Team members to excite and delight our clients in region and deliver agreed project and services scopes. The role will work closely with the Sales function and will report into the Sr Director of Operations, Services and Delivery and will be responsible for driving growth in our services to our GSP clients. This individual will also provide line management, leadership, and guidance to the Client Services Project Consultants as they execute their assigned engagements.

The Client Services Director :

  • Leads and line manages a team of client services managers ensuring that new and existing business opportunities generate growth (Eg. Supply Chain Services, Strategic Resourcing, Client Service Opportunities).
  • Understands and oversees large scale Services engagements with our customers in the region
  • Develops customer relationships and seeks to expand our services delivery within each customer
  • Work in a sales overlay role with our existing Client Directors/Managers/Executives to scope new services projects to drive additional margin through Services in our largest accounts
  • Assists with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top industry talent to grow the organisation as required
  • Manage Services Partners - build, maintain, and utilise subcontract relationships to level capacity fluctuations and ensure burst capability
  • Ensure compliance with WWT's Delivery Methodology and processes
  • Has accountability for building and creating better quality assurance, service design standards, and processes ready to drive higher quality and profitability across our client accounts for services delivered.
  • Within the GSP International pre and post-sales organisation, maintains and own end-to-end accountability for services in region
  • Provide a single point of escalation to drive service improvements, with clients, partners, and internal stakeholder communities.
  • Drive behaviors within colleagues to ensure they feel valued in their roles and clearly understand how they contribute to the business.
  • Utilising the wider organisation, drive alignment and standardisation of service practice and delivery across the GSP International organisation.
  • Optimise and influence the team's ability to deliver growth and benefits back into the business via programs, projects, and wider service initiatives.

Job Responsibilities



Manages client relationships and expectations


Line manages Client Services Managers, ensuring development and progression and wellbeing



Backfills and recruits talent into the services organisation as required to meet the demand funnel



Challenges current ‘ways of working' innovates and continually seeks improvements



Participates in relevant executive and regional sales QBR's, EBC's and Account Planning sessions as required to understand needs of clients



Creates best practices and associated content and present concepts to peers in team meetings



Fosters team collaboration by posting and sharing relevant content in email and other team collaboration tools


Works closely with Sales Team to understand upcoming demand in the pipe and assists in selling services into clients and delivers them, once sold either via partners or WWT in house capability (hybrid model)
