Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document patient histories and encounters during exams and procedures.
  • Assist healthcare providers in capturing vital patient information and treatment plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support the healthcare team by inputting data into electronic health records (EHR).
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to gather necessary information.
  • Ensure timely and precise completion of documentation to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices and software tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Medical Assistant experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EHR software.
