Job Title: Clinical Assistant

The Clinical Assistant will support the Director of Onboarding and clinical operations by assisting with patient care coordination and administrative clinical tasks in a remote setting.

Job Duties:

• Monitor and respond to EHR messages from nurse coaches related to patient care and follow-up needs

Assist with compiling and sending blood pressure (BP) logs to providers as requested

Provide Nurse Practitioners with status regarding patient compliance, especially patients within 90-day period or patients needing follow up.

• Assist with CPAP setup list and patients awaiting CPAP set up
• Serve as a facilitator for after-hours patient calls between patients and nurse coaches
• Provide coverage for patient enrollments when the Enrollment Specialist is unavailable
• Support efficient communication and continuity of care across the care team

This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, familiarity with EHR systems, and the ability to support both clinical and administrative workflows remotely.

Skill Set:

• Ability to document accurately, properly, and efficiently within the patient’s chart
• Clear understanding of internal workflows and knowing where and to whom communication should be directed across departments
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication with team members to ensure tasks are clearly assigned and not duplicated

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent computer, multi-tasking, and telephone skills
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Insurance Verification experience preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
