Clinical Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dental assistant for a full or part time position who is available to work in an awesome, team oriented, safe and structured work environment!

We do offer opportunities for higher hourly pay depending on experience and skill level. This topic can be addressed in the interview meeting.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and HIPAA protocols and guidelines
• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Performing expanded dental functions
• Taking diagnostic, digital, dental x-rays
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Taking and recording blood pressure
• Help when needed
• Help with equipment and lab maintenance duties
• Help with patient lab case maintenance protocol
• Light household duties

Desired Skills

• Self motivated
• At least 1 year of experience as a dental, clinical assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and great multi-tasker
• Reliable attendance
• Works well as a team-player
• High school diploma, graduating from dental assistant school is preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
