Clinical Floor Esthetics Coordinator

Clinical Floor Instructor Coordinator (Basic Esthetics Program) must hold current Florida Facial Specialist license.

Chic Image Academy is a Florida DBPR-licensed educational institution and CIDESCO TRAINING SCHOOL ,seeking a Clinical Floor Instructor Coordinator to support our licensed instructors and students on the clinical floor during the practical instruction and evaluations.

This role is only suited for confident, licensed estheticians who understand that mastery of FOUNDATIONAL skills is essential before teaching others and who take pride in upholding professional and educational standards.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

To ensure clarity and alignment, please note:

This position is NOT:

  • Entry-level
  • An apprenticeship
  • A learning or training opportunity (to learn advanced modalities or “polish up” on foundational skills)

This position is:

  • A paid professional role
  • Focused on supporting licensed instructors and enrolled students
  • Designed for individuals who work independently, take initiative, and communicate confidently
  • Designed to showcase the strong foundational skills you ALREADY know.

Applicants seeking hands-on training or foundational skill development may find this role is not the right fit.

Role Overview

The Clinical Floor Instructor Coordinator supports daily clinic operations and helps ensure that entry-level student services are performed safely, professionally, and in compliance with Florida DBPR standards and Milady protocols.

This role requires the ability to observe, guide, and clearly explain foundational esthetics concepts in both classroom and clinical settings.

Clinical Floor Responsibilities

  • Supervise entry-level student facials
  • Monitor sanitation, infection control, and PPE compliance
  • Reinforce step-by-step facial protocols
  • Identify contraindications and stop services when necessary
  • Maintain professional boundaries and smooth clinic flow
  • Support instructors by reinforcing curriculum standards

Required Knowledge (Entry-Level Esthetics)

Applicants should already have a solid working understanding of:

  • Skin analysis and consultation
  • Classic facial protocols
  • Sanitation and infection control
  • High Frequency
  • Galvanic (desincrustation and iontophoresis)
  • Ultrasonic spatula
  • Cold hammer / cryotherapy
  • Manual facial massage
  • Mask application and aftercare education

Professional Expectations

Applicants must be able to:

  • Communicate confidently with groups of adults
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Demonstrate procedures independently
  • Take initiative and anticipate needs
  • Follow written SOPs and protocols accurately
  • Communicate clearly and professionally

Florida Licensing Standard

Applicants must be capable of both performing and explaining foundational esthetics concepts, not solely executing services.

These competencies reflect the minimum professional standards expected of all Florida-licensed estheticians (facial specialists )and do not constitute advanced or specialty training.

This role does not provide remedial education on fundamental esthetics concepts of what you should have learned in school during your own training. Unfortunately many applicants are seeking this role as a fundamental education opportunity… which unfortunately it isn’t.

After six months to one year of successful performance in this role you may qualify for mentorship, and scholarships for all our other training programs.

Required Application Question

To ensure alignment, please briefly describe your experience in your resume that qualifies you to independently assist in a classroom or clinical education setting.

Applications that do not address this question may not be considered.

Evaluation & Interview Process

Qualified applicants will be invited to a brief phone interview as the first step in the selection process.

Candidates who move forward will then be required to complete a practical evaluation, which includes:

  • Demonstrating a complete entry-level facial
  • Explaining each step and modality as it would be taught in a real classroom setting
  • Demonstrating proper sanitation, safety, and professional communication

This practical evaluation is used to assess clinical competence, instructional clarity, and alignment with Florida DBPR standards and fundamental protocols.
