Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (2x12 Hour Shifts)
Schedule: Part time (24 Hours/Week) | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call
Status: Non-Exempt

Role Overview

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you’ll play a vital role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing to support high-quality patient care. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, ensuring compliance, precision, and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

• Prepare reagents and report results per policy

• Review and oversee moderate to high complexity testing

• Maintain and monitor lab equipment, supplies, and computer systems

• Deliver excellent customer service and communication

• Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Certification & Licensure

• Required: Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

• Preferred: ASCP Certification

Education

• Required: Associate’s degree

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

Experience

• Preferred: 1 year of laboratory-related experience
