Job Title: Clinical Liaison Officer
Department: Medical / Clinical Coordination
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Job Summary:
The Clinical Liaison Officer acts as the primary link between the clinical, administrative, and patient care teams. The role ensures smooth coordination between departments, facilitates effective communication among doctors, nurses, and management, and upholds patient care standards in alignment with hospital protocols and accreditation requirements (such as NABH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Coordination
- Liaise between consultants, nursing staff, and administrative departments for efficient patient care.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as per clinical and operational protocols.
- Ensure timely availability of diagnostic and treatment services.
- Communication & Liaison
- Serve as the communication bridge between hospital management and clinical teams.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and departmental briefings.
- Communicate doctor schedules, OT lists, and clinical updates to relevant departments.
- Quality & Compliance
- Support adherence to NABH and hospital quality standards.
- Participate in clinical audits and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with infection control and patient safety guidelines.
- Patient Experience
- Address patient and family queries in coordination with the treating team.
- Ensure patient care services are delivered with empathy and professionalism.
- Follow up on patient feedback and coordinate resolution of complaints.
- Operational Support
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of doctors’ rounds, procedures, and reports.
- Monitor patient flow and bed occupancy.
- Support the operations team in planning clinical manpower and resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or Healthcare Management (Master’s preferred).
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital operations, clinical coordination, or patient liaison roles.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems (HIS).
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Empathy, professionalism, and teamwork.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
