Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time, capturing vital signs, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other pertinent clinical details.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient encounters efficiently and securely.
• Assist healthcare providers by preparing accurate medical documentation that complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain thorough and organized medical records, ensuring all documentation is complete, legible, and up-to-date.
• Support physicians during patient examinations by providing real-time note-taking and data entry to optimize clinical efficiency.
• Review and verify medical records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with clinical notes.
• Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures to accurately capture complex clinical information.

Requirements

• Proven experience in transcription within a medical setting or familiarity with medical office procedures.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room protocols.
• Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting such as a medical office or emergency room is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in high-stakes situations.
