Clinical Nurse

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
  • Assist in diagnostic procedures and medical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Ensure infection control standards and patient safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise and guide junior nursing staff and support personnel when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a hospital or specialty setting.
  • BLS certification (ACLS preferred depending on department).
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
