DHA licinced Clinical Psychologist provides psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The role involves working collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams to promote psychological well-being, address mental health challenges, and support personal growth and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and standardized testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy).
  • Provide psychotherapy to clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and adjustment difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, primary care providers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
  • Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines established by governing bodies (e.g., APA, local licensing boards).

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Clinical Psychologist in Dubai.
  • Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment.
  • Knowledge of current evidence-based practices and mental health treatment standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in [ Trauma-focused therapy, child/adolescent psychology, couples therapy, health psychology].
  • Training in [ EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT].
  • Experience providing telehealth or working in integrated care settings.
