Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to join a prestigious research institute. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating clinical trials, particularly in the field of oncology. Your primary responsibilities will include recruiting, screening, and enrolling subjects into clinical trials, as well as explaining the informed consent process. You will also be responsible for documenting adverse events and preparing Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and enroll subjects into clinical trials.
• Explain the informed consent process to participants.
• Document any adverse events that occur during the study.
• Collect and manage study documents, protocols, regulatory documents, informed consents, case report forms, and source documents.
• Prepare and submit applications to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
  
  

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of clinical research experience required.
• Experience with in-hospital clinical research.
• Proficiency in patient recruitment and consenting.
• Effective communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations.
• Experience with adverse event reporting.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
  
  

Work Environment

The position involves working in a combination of office and hospital/outpatient surgery settings. You will be part of a fast-paced and high-volume environment, handling industry and investigator studies. The role is based on a large campus and involves working with state-of-the-art equipment. This opportunity allows you to collaborate on high-profile studies with large, well-known sponsors. The team is part of one of the most prestigious academic research institutes in the world.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.
