About Heartfelt Technologies

Heartfelt Technologies is a fast-growing medical device company on a mission to transform heart failure care through continuous, AI-powered remote monitoring. Our award-winning team is headquartered in Cambridge, UK, and we’re now launching our first U.S. office in Boston following FDA IDE Category B approval to conduct a 1,600-patient Medicare-funded clinical trial across the United States. This marks a major milestone for our company as we scale operations globally.

About the Role

As a Research Nurse, you will serve as a key clinical resource supporting our large-scale U.S. clinical trial. This role will work closely with Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) partners, doctor offices, hospitals and internal clinical and operations teams to support patient recruitment, device implementation, and participant engagement. Potential travel across the US is up to 30%-40% of the time.

This position requires a clinically trained professional comfortable working directly with patients, going into patient homes, supporting clinical trial procedures, and adapting within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with RPM partners and site staff to support trial recruitment and ensure seamless workflow integration
  • Coordinate device shipment and assist with patient onboarding and installation support
  • Administer patient questionnaires and provide remote support related to device use
  • Serve as a clinical point of contact for participants, answering study-related and appropriate health-related questions within scope of practice

  • Support protocol compliance
  • Track and report daily/weekly metrics to the Sponsor
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory, and operations teams
  • Adapt to evolving responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license required (BSN preferred)
  • Strong clinical background; cardiology or heart failure experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent patient-facing and customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
  • Comfortable educating and supporting patients using remote monitoring devices
  • Clinical research experience is preferred but not required
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup setting
  • Strong team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Technically confident and able to assist with basic device troubleshooting

Why This Role?
