Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant – Experienced Phlebotomist to join our hands-on research team. This paid position offers the opportunity to work directly with real patients, performing vital specimen collection and supporting clinical trial procedures. Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient screening, consent, and preparation for clinical procedures
  • Perform blood sampling through venipuncture using aseptic techniques to ensure sample integrity
  • Collect and process biological specimens accurately following laboratory protocols
  • Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to monitor patient health status
  • Maintain detailed documentation of specimen collection, processing steps, and patient interactions
  • Support laboratory procedures by preparing samples for analysis and ensuring proper storage
  • Uphold patient care standards by providing compassionate service and addressing participant needs throughout the study

Skills

  • Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques related to specimen collection and processing
  • Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, venipuncture, and blood sampling methods
  • Knowledge of clinical laboratory practices and hospital-based patient care environments
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs measurement
  • Experience with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during sample collection
  • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and hospital procedures related to specimen handling

Pay: $21.00 - $24.50 per hour
